Built Environment

From the most humble shelter made of leaves, bark and branches, to the most magnificent mansion, palace or shrine, human ingenuity has few boundaries. The placement of a trunk over a stream to ensure travellers don’t fall in is just as important as ensuring that the resonance of crossing traffic won’t make a bridge fall. Beautiful or ugly, so much is subjective and we see both through our own lenses of experience and understanding.
